Give Peace a Chance! The Peace Symbol is one of the most widely known symbols in the world. In Britain it is recognized as standing for nuclear disarmament. In the United States and much of the rest of the world it is widely known more commonly as the peace symbol. This symbol of unification and peace is depicted in gold vermeil in a cut out design.
