The butterfly is a symbol of transformation, inspiration, rebirth and faith. Butterflies are also associated with the soul.
Dragonflies:
The symbolic meanings of dragonflies are particularly associated in Asian and Native American circles. As a creature of the wind, the dragonfly totem represents change. When the frog jumps into your life it may indicate now is a time to find opportunities in transition. The frog holds special meaning to different cultures all around the world. Many cultures see the frog as a symbol of abundance. In Native American animal symbolism the frog undergoes incredible transformations to reach the destination of full adulthood, and so do we as humans. As a Celtic symbol meaning, the frog has healing powers because of its connection with water and cleansing rains. In China the Frog is an emblem of Yin energy and thought of as good luck.
Scarab Beetle:
The young scarab beetles emerged spontaneously from the burrow they were born in. Therefore they were worshipped as "Khepera", which means "the one who came forth". Khepera was believed to push the setting sun along the sky. In many artifacts, the scarab is depicted pushing the sun along its course in the sky.
Epona:
Epona was a protector of horses, donkeys, and mules. It is believed that the goddess and her horses were leaders of the soul in the after-life ride.
Raven:
The Raven is the creature of metamorphosis, symbolizing change and transformation.
Bear:
The bear is a symbol of power, courage and healing.
